What are the availabilities?

It is difficult to answer this question: bookings are treated by order of arrival on the campsite which means that some rentals are available when you contact us for the first time, but may no longer be available when we receive your booking.
If this should be the case, our booking service would contact you to try and find another solution.

How can I book?

There are three ways to book: 
- Online, by clicking on **Availabilities, Prices & Online bookings** at the bottom of the page.
- By dialling ** 0033 (0)** (*) 3
- By mail: You can print the booking request that can be found on the website under «BOOKINGS», fill it out and send it back to us by mail only, with the down payment of 35 %.
Booking requests are treated by order of arrival on the campsite, and only if the request is complete.
(*) keep your credit card at hand, we will ask you a down payment.

Can I book less than a week during the low season?

Of course: for rental accommodations: during the low season, depending on the availabilities, bookings can be done for a minimum of two nights.
You can choose the day of arrival and the day of departure.
Weekend ascenssion : 4 nights minimum
Weekends Pentecost : 3 nights minimum

How do I calculate the total amount of my stay?

You need to add up: The price of the rental (or the camping pitch). Prices are indicated per night.
Take off 20%, if your booking concerns a stay of 14 nights or longer, during the low season.
Possible supplements (ex: dog, 2nd vehicle...).
Booking fees: 30.50 Euros (offered for all payments in full).
Tourist tax: 0.60 Euros/ night / person from 18 years (*).
OPTIONAL: cancellation insurance: 16 Euros per booking.
If you wish to estimate the price of your stay, you can use the «CALCULATION SHEET» available on our website.

What means of payment are accepted?

Credit cards (except for American Express), French bank cheques, chèques-vacances, cash, money orders.
The French «Bons Vacances» of the CAF are not accepted for payment.

Can I change my booking?

Under certain conditions, yes.
Contact us by using the change/cancellation form under BOOKINGS.
Or by dialling 0033 (0)4 66 51 49 81, and our booking service will answer you.

Can I arrive outside the opening hours of the reception?

Yes. At the closing of the reception, the watchman (or security agent) will welcome you* and will hand you the keys of your rental in exchange of your identity papers.
You’ll just need to present yourself at the reception the next morning for the final formalities and to get back your identity papers.
*during the low season:
from Monday to Thursday: arrivals at 10 pm at the latest. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday: arrivals at 11 pm at the latest.
During the high season:
No specific time of arrival (security agents are available all night to welcome you).

Can I leave outside the opening hours of the reception?

Yes: in this case, you would need to drop the keys of your rental, after having cleaned, and the l’EDEN bracelets in our mailbox before you leave.The reception will be kept informed on the eve of departure.
The inventory will be done after you have left.

Do you offer full or half board stays?

Yes, in partnership with the bar-restaurant.

Do you accept bookings for groups?

For all requests for bookings for groups, we recommend you to send us a letter with the following details:
1 - The dates of your stay.
2 - The number of persons (adults, children, (ages), bus driver...)
3 - The number of cars or buses.
4 - The way you wish to be accommodated: use of the bedrooms only or use of all the beds (including the extra bed in the lounge).
5 - The purpose of the stay of your group: sports meeting, team-building weekend...
6 - If you wish to receive the price for a full or half board stay, please do not hesitate to ask the restaurant managers to make you a detailed quote.

Are dogs allowed?

However, they are accepted on the camping pitches, in the chalets and in the villa.
They must have had vaccination against rabies (certificate to be sent with your booking).
Dogs as classified by the administrative centre (category 1 and 2), are prohibited.
We will only allow one dog per booking, whatever its size.
The villa can accommodate up to 2 dogs (with the same conditions). Any application not meeting these conditions will be refused. Any false declaration will be punished.

What about other pets?

They are strictly prohibited.


Do the rentals have a fridge?

Yes, refrigerator / freezer 155L in mobile homes Bikini, Provençaux, fridge / freezer in chalets 30 m² 35 m² Great Standing, elegance, Prestige and Prestige plus as well as in the villa.

Is the kitchen equipped?

Yes, it has a gas stove, a micro wave, a fridge, a coffee machine and tableware.

Are sheets and blankets included?

All our rentals have pillows, pillowcases and disposable under-sheets. Fabric or disposable sheets as well as blankets are also provided (1 kit per bed).

Are the sheets changed every week?

Yes, upon simple request at the reception.

Is it possible to rent baby cots?

Yes, we rent camp beds for 20 Euros / week. We also offer high chairs for 18 Euros / week (fixed price).

Do the rentals have a television?

No, they do not. If you wish to bring your own television, you need to make sure you have an indoor antenna.

Is it possible to park 2 cars?

Only the plots of the mobile homes Prestige and the villa have 2 free parking spaces. For the other rentals and the camping pitches, the second car is subject to:
1 - a specific request to the direction. Depending on the layout of the plot (positioning of the mobile home, the terrace and the vegetation) often there’s space for one car only.
2 - compulsory parking on the plot.
3 - a supplement of 4 Euros per night.

Note: if the plot does not offer enough space for the parking of 2 cars, the second car must be parked on the visitors’ parking space.


What are the maximum dimensions accepted for caravans and camper vans?

6 metres maximum. If you have a caravan of 5 or 6 metres, please do not hesitate to contact our booking service to receive a detailed access map.

Are water and electricity included?

NOTE: you would need to bring a long trailing socket to connect to the shared electric hook-up.
See the section «Camping pitches».

Is it possible to empty waste water on the camping pitch?

The drain on the pitch will allow you to empty washing up water, but not your waste water.
You have two options: if you have a removable chemical toilet, you can empty it in the sanitary block. Otherwise, in Le Grau du Roi you’ll find various emptying points:
On the left bank, near the arenas, and on the right bank, near the Aquarama, for big camper vans.

Do you offer **long stays**?

You can book a **long stay** on a camping pitch.
We do not offer special prices, a part from some special offers (for instance: -20% from 14 nights booked during the low season).
Do not hesitate to ask for information about the purchase of a mobile home: accessible 6 months per year when you wish, from 07/04 to 30/09/2013.
We do not offer storage for caravans or camper vans.


What is the swimming pool like?

The outdoor swimming pool is made of 2 pools: One of 400 m2 (depth from 0,30 m to 2m) split up in 2 parts by a footbridge with a jacuzzi and a water slide. A second pool of 200m2 (depth 0,40 m) for children, with 2 water slides and water games. You have access to sun beds.Bath shorts, Burkini or swimwear with skirt and strollers are strictly prohibited. Wearing the l’Eden bracelet to access the swimming pool is compulsory.

What are the opening dates of the swimming pool?

The aquatic area is open from the second weekend of April to the third weekend of September. The balneo area is open from the third weekend of April to the second weekend of September.. In July and August 1st Lifeguard Lifeguard monitors.

What are the rules to access the pool?

For hygiene, bathing shorts and other clothing are strictly prohibited, as well as strollers. Only bathing suits are allowed (see rules)! All persons visiting the pool area must go through the footbath, and must always take a shower before swimming. Compulsory wearing the bracelet EDEN to access the pool area and spa.


How far is the beach?

The nearest beach is situated at about 700m. You can access the beach by foot within 10 minutes, by following the path leaving from the campsite. If you prefer the Espiguette beach, you’ll need to take your car and drive for about 4 km. Please note that the parking space at the beach is paid. For your information: price per day 2016: 6 Euros for cars and 12 Euros for camper vans. In July and August, you have access to a free shuttle that leaves from the campsite every half an hour, upon presentation of the l’Eden bracelet. Please note: dogs are not allowed on the beaches, or in the free shuttle to the Espiguette beach.

How far is the town centre?

Port Camargue is situated at about 600m and Le Grau du Roi at about 1,5 km. You can access the town centre by walking along the beach.

Are there any shops nearby?

You’ll find all you need on site. At the shop: basic groceries, fruit and vegetables, bread and pastries, international newspapers and magazines. At the bar /restaurant: take-away meals. Of course, there are supermarkets at Le Grau du Roi.


How can I participate for free in the activities offered by the campsite?

You will receive a L’EDEN bracelet upon arrival.
We invite you to wear it all the time, when you are on the campsite, to make sure you can have free access to the activities and the facilities as well as the access to the campsite.
We remind you that security agents are available for your wellbeing and security.

What are the sports equipments of the campsite?

We have: A waterpark,
A mini-golf,
A playground for children,
A half-court (mini tennis),
A wellness area: sauna, training room, fitness room
Table tennis tables,
A sports field (basketball, petanque, beach volleyball...).

What kind of activities and entertainments are available?

In July and August, during the day, we offer:
A mini club (6-12 years), open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 am and from 2 pm to 5.30 pm, for which children need to be signed up, with bilingual activity leaders offering crafts, treasure hunts, tournaments and the organisation of a show for children to participate in...
A teenage club (12-17 years) offering sports activities and the teenage meeting place which is open from 9 pm to 1 am.
Sports and leisure activities for adults:
Aquagym, fitness, cocktail games, petanque tournaments...
These activities are free.
Every day, a theme evening will be offered to you: country, Gipsy, hypnosis, look-alikes, lotto, karaoke, games, disco, Brazilian...
Also, important sports events can be watched on a large screen.


Is there an internet access on the campsite?

Oui, un point internet est à votre disposition à la réception. Vous pouvez également vous connecter avec votre ordinateur portable grâce au système WIFI.

Do the pitches have a lot of shade?

Generally, they do. But you need to take into account that the trees are situated on the pitch borders. The sunshine also depends on the positioning of the pitch and the time of day.

Do you fill out French holiday coupons?

Yes, we do, but we do not accept them for payment. If it is you who’s paying your stay at l'Eden: we’ll fill out your documents. If you pay your stay to another organism (works council, tour operator...): the organism will fill out your documents. We can fill out a holiday certificate for you.

Is there a launderette?

Yes, the price of the washing machine is 5 Euros and the tumble dryer is at 1,5 Euros. Irons and iron boards are available at the reception.

How about security and safes?

Our security team watches over the campsite during the day and during the night. The security team is present in July and August and there’s a watchman at the opening and the closing of the campsite. Safes are available (to rent) at the reception.

What is the site’s classification?

Our campsite has been classified as a 4 star site by a prefectoral decree n°940027BRT.

Can I receive visitors?

Visitors are persons who visit you occasionnally, but who do not sleep on EDEN. After having been authorised by the manager or his representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite, under the responsibility of the campers who receive them. 

Campers may receive one or two visitors (4 persons maximum beyond the accommodation capacity). If the capaciity of the rented accommodation is not exceeded, visitors may have access to the facilities and/or equipments of Eden (green bracelet). However, if the accommodation capacity is exceeded (possibility to receive 4 persons maximum beyond the capacity), these visitors (red bracelet) (may not access the facilities of EDEN (example: no pool access. Visitors must present at lthe reception (or at the security office ), and the camper receiving them must pay the visitors' fee (to be paid only when the accommodation capacity is exceeded). This fee is displayed at the entrance of the site and at the reception.

Applicable tariffs (from 8 years):

Length of visit < than 2hrs:      free

Length of visit from 2 to 4 hrs: 4,00 € / visitor

Length of visit > than 4hrs: 8,00 € / visitor

You'll get a bracelet in exchange for identity. Bracelet must be brought back to the reception (or the security office) before midnight on the day of registration.

 Parking of visitor's vehicles must not be done on the campsite or the privalte access roads. Besides that, visitors or guests must comply with the internal rules of the campsite.

VISITORS JULY AUGUST (For people not staying at the campsite: presence from 8h to 23h maximum)

After having been authorized by the manager or his representative, the visitors can be admitted in the enclosure of L'Eden under the responsibility of the campers who receive them. The camper can receive one or more visitors (4 people maximum). These visitors (red bracelet) will be denied access to L'EDEN's infrastructure (ex: no swimming pool). Visitors must present themselves at the reception (or at the security post).
A bracelet will be given in exchange for a piece of identity. Bracelet to bring back to the reception (or the security station) before 23h the day of their registration. Visitors' vehicles must not be parked on the campsite, the outdoor car park and private access roads.
In addition, visitors or guests are required to comply with the rules of the campsite.
Failure to report by the camper-resident will be considered an offense and penalized accordingly.
